A slightly shorter @21km and less eventful walk through to Viana on day nine ....despite the long hills ,because there was no rain even they are feeling easier . I do believe we are growing stronger every day despite our feet issues.... Anita with an infected big toe and my little toe blisters and one on ball of foot.
We have noticed that regardless how far we walk the last three seem to go on forever. ... so we always hook forward to making it to our accomodation , finishing our chores and chilling ... this day we had to find a pharmacy to stock up but along the way we bumped into ( that happens on the Camino over 800km ) Canadian friends we had made and the wife had recommended some sandals she had bought In Viana for her feet problems .So a few hours on and along with a new set at sandals , a lovely meal cooked @ the Albugue accompanied by some Vino tinto and we had finished one of those awesome accidental Camino evenings.
