Day 14- The big question asked

We finally had to drag ourselves away from the wonderful Parador hotel and get back on the trail So we got an early start for our 23 km walk to Belorada. It was about 6km before we could get our cafe con leache fix.
The landscape again was that beautiful quilt of different crops ringed by a garland of wild flowers what amazing colours (see pic).
At Granon there was a fantastic lookout that you could just sit at and gaze over the valley landscape . The path later on tended to run next to a very busy roads and had long straight sections so it was one step at a time.
A Camino moment was had as we were climbing up a hill with a large open water drain  running beside the Camino. It had sprayed on its cement panels in large letters .."why are you doing the Comino?" .... which was a good question after we had walked some 237 km , climbed over the Pyrenees and endured blisters and sore feet . As I pondered the question reflecting on the clear initial guide and from God. ( 3 clear indicators on one day) .. the sequence of things that fell into place for the Camino to be a transition into a new season of ministry and life. ... but what specifically? ... today after 2 weeks on the Camino I can say I have crossed over from being a tourist on an adventure to being immersed in the Camino ...the beginnings of a real pilgrim, hearing my thought more clearly , dialogueing with myself and God at times with a real clarity ... but there is a long way to go .
So after responding to the big question on the drainage pipe not more then 50 mtrs on there came into view a stunning cross at the top of the climb ..., wow how clear ... yet more insight ... in the end... at the pinnacle we are all lead back to the Cross ... I still have much to learn.

So we made our way along the straight path next to the highway into town and the Alburgue  de santiago great relief was experienced by our bodies .... I had been grumbling to my self for a little while... why is the traffic so loud , why do my feet hurt , why is it cold .. and clear as a bell I was remind again...

As with the Camino as with life ... its riches are only revealed by perseverance ,determinate and effort mixed with grace, acceptance & humility !!
